Jasmin

The Jasmin project showcases KEIRO Architecture and Design’s expertise in creating a bespoke, multi-functional space tailored for a teenage girl on the charming island of Gozo. The room’s unique layout features a split-level design, maximizing both space and functionality. The lower level serves as a vibrant lounge area, perfect for socializing with friends. To provide a sense of privacy, the wardrobe cleverly divides the lounge from the more intimate areas beneath the mezzanine.

The mezzanine level is a private sanctuary where the sleeping area and dressing table reside, overlooking the lounge below. A spiral staircase elegantly connects the two levels, adding a touch of sophistication to the room’s design.

The color palette was carefully selected to reflect the transitional phase from adolescence to adulthood, incorporating deep rose pinks, greens, and subtle floral accents against light-colored walls. The high wall behind the sofa is adorned with perforated cladding, not only enhancing acoustics but also allowing for creative expression through customizable colorful rods. As a personal touch, a large rose-colored 'J' was added, symbolizing the room’s identity and the young lady it was designed for.
