‘S’ House

In the charming locale of Victoria, Gozo, KEIRO Architecture and Design was tasked with furnishing a newly built terraced house designed as a rental investment. The client envisioned the home as a relaxing retreat, and with a preference for vibrant colors, KEIRO infused the space with bright hues to contrast with the pale limestone interiors.

The design approach emphasized creating a lively yet soothing environment, where colorful accents enliven the space while harmonizing with the natural stone. A key feature of the interior design is the custom artwork designed for the property’s staircase. Reflecting a blend of tradition and modernity, this artwork reimagines The Maltese Cross—a symbol of protection and honor—into a contemporary piece.

In addition to the staircase artwork, KEIRO curated a series of framed photographs of traditional Maltese doors for the corridor, captured specifically for this project. This thoughtful inclusion pays homage to local heritage while enriching the home’s aesthetic.
